Nursing homes: residents will be able to welcome their pets from spring. In this Toulouse nursing home, there are 70 residents, to which must be added Kitty, a 15-year-old cat who shares a room with her mistress.
The Minister of Labor and Health is in favor of establishing a right for nursing home residents to be accompanied by their pet and of including this possibility in the law. However, it remains to be determined what type of animals. The law must specify this to avoid abuses.
