Nigeria: nearly 300 students kidnapped in the North-West, in the midst of a wave of mass kidnappings. In the north-west of Nigeria, local “ bandits ” again attacked the Kuriga school.
The same day, nearly 100 women were reported missing. Local armed groups also regularly attack farmers or travelers who venture outside the cities. And families are often left to their own devices to negotiate with these bandits, then pay the ransoms they demand.
