Britain has no plans to deploy laser weapons in Ukraine. Currently, the British DragonFire long-range laser weapon is at the research and development stage.
It is assumed that the weapon will be used to destroy flying targets, such as drones. Earlier it became known that the UK will allocate additional funds in the amount of £125 million ($160 million) for the purchase of drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This will increase the number of UAVs transferred to Kyiv to 10 thousand.
