Newspaper: A “friendly” drone prevented the attack on an American base in Jordan from being confronted. On Sunday, January 28, the US Army announced that three of its members were killed and dozens of others were injured in a drone attack.
Washington accused Iranian-backed armed groups of being behind the attack and vowed to respond to it. The attack is the first targeting that left American forces dead since the start of the war on Gaza last October. In a statement yesterday, Monday, Iran's mission to the United Nations denied any role for Tehran in the attack.
