The results of the selection of "New Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2023" were announced in Beijing today. Shortlisted projects include the Yuzhuang Longshan Cultural Site in Ye County, Henan Province and the Bronze Age Site of Shirya Makob in Dulan County, Qinghai Province.
New archaeological discoveries abroad include Lake Bogoria Paleolithic Site in the Republic of Kenya and the ruins of the Mor Temple during the Han and Tang Dynasties in Kashgar, Xinjiang.
