The mild weather that France is currently experiencing raises fears of a significant snow deficit in France's resorts. The weather forecasts for the next few days do not bode well for the ski areas.
The cold and snow are not expected to return before the start of the holidays. Some snowfall is, however, expected in the Pyrenees and the Alps, but in clearly insufficient quantities, points out the forecaster who even speaks of a "catastrophic" situation for the Massif Central, the Jura and the Vosges.
