Rudy Gobert punched teammate Kyle Anderson during Minnesota Timberwolves' game against New Orleans Pelicans. Gobert was sent home from the game, which Minnesota won 113-108.
The 30-year-old French pivot quickly apologized, but it is not certain if this will be enough. Minnesota is eighth in the Western Conference at the end of the regular season. The Wolves will face LeBron James' L.A. Lakers on Tuesday for a playoff spot, in case of a defeat to the winner of the game between New Orleans and Oklahoma.
