On April 1, it became known that the Israeli Air Force attacked the territory of the embassy and the residence of the Iranian ambassador in the Syrian capital. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said seven Iranian military advisers were killed. The Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov called the incident an act of aggression. He said the attack was an ugly, criminal step in relation to the sovereign state of Iran.
