Over the past week and a half, contract service selection centers have seen a significant increase in those wishing to enlist in the Russian Armed Forces. In total, over the past ten days, about 16 thousand citizens have signed contracts to participate in a special military operation.
The Ministry of Defense announced that since the beginning of 2024, more than 100 thousand people have entered military service under contract. Many of those wanting to join the Armed Forces have cited the desire to avenge those killed in the Crocus terrorist attack as their motive.
