Total losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during attempts to break into Russian territory exceeded 1.5 thousand. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

From March 12 to 14, fighters from the West group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces, together with the border authorities, stopped all attempts by Ukrainian militants. About 500 were irrevocable, 18 tanks and 23 armored combat vehicles were destroyed, the statement said. Earlier it became known that the Russian armed forces and the FSB thwarted an attempt to break through the Ukrainian armed forces into the Belgorod region.
