Several thousand people responded to the call of the CDT, the Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT), Place de la Victoire. The rally was originally supposed to be a march through Morocco's economic capital, but the prefecture banned the procession from leaving its starting point.
Some scuffles broke out with the police arranged all around the Place de La Victoire, but overall the morning went smoothly. The leaders of theCDT have promised to continue their mobilization as long as they have not won their case.
