More than 87% of votes: Putin is leading in the Russian presidential elections based on the results of counting more than 99% of ballots. Putin's current result also exceeds the results obtained by the current head of state in 2018, when 76.69% of voters voted for him.
Putin himself visited his election headquarters on the evening of March 17 and thanked the people of Russia for their support. He also expressed his readiness to move forward, fulfilling all the tasks discussed during the election campaign.
