Ministry of Internal Affairs: work on tightening control in the field of migration with the bill has been completed. Law establishes the legal basis for the introduction of biometric personal identification when entering Russia, as well as reducing the period of temporary stay of foreigners to 80 days during the calendar year.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov answered a question about the creation of a new migration department. According to him, no official decisions have been made on this topic. He was included in the Russian government.
