Ministry of Internal Affairs: Restrictions on the stay of migrants in Russia will not apply to those who have received a residence permit. Draft proposed by the Ministry provides for a number of exceptions.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called for attention to be paid to the fight against extremism and curbing illegal migration. According to Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, almost 110 thousand migrant offenders were expelled from Russia in 2023. The draft will be presented to the Russian parliament next week.
