Ministry of Emergency Management: Various natural disasters caused a total of 2.289 million people to be affected to varying degrees in January. A 7.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in Wushi, Xinjiang, and a landslide occurred in Zhenxiong, Yunnan.
In January, 38 earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 or above occurred in mainland my country, and 9 earthquake of magnitude 5 or above. The main natural disasters in my country were earthquakes, geological disasters, low temperature freezing and snow disasters.
