An artillery strike was carried out on a group of Ukrainian terrorists who tried to penetrate towards Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Belgorod region. This is reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The enemy is scattered and retreated, the ministry said. Earlier, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced his readiness to meet with members of the sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) at the Shebekino checkpoint to discuss return of prisoners who, presumably, were captured by militants.
