The dissolution of the partnership between Saar and Gantz comes at a time when Israel is waging a war on Gaza that has left tens of thousands of civilian casualties. Israel insists on continuing the war despite its first appearance since its establishment in 1948 on charges of committing genocide against the Palestinians.
