Israel's Defense Minister Joav Gallant calls the hostage rescue a "turning point" in the war against Hamas. "The day when there will be further operations is not far away," says Gallant.

The Israeli army freed two male hostages from the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip on Monday night - more than four months after they were kidnapped. Around 130 of them are still believed to be held in the Gaza Strip and Israel believes 29 of them have died in the military operation.
