Milei gets the Chamber of Deputies to approve his omnibus law, although with strong cuts to the original proposal. The law, which modifies fundamental aspects of the lives of Argentines and broadly liberalizes the economy, was approved by 144 votes to 109.

"We share the spirit and meaning of this law: Argentina is stuck and we must weed out," deputy Damián Arabia, member of the PRO, told EL MUNDO. After the general approval of the law on Tuesday, the specific articles will be voted on, in which there will be important modifications.
