Israeli army has increased its attacks on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. The UN, the USA and France expressed concern about the increased Israeli attacks and warned of a “catastrophe” US President Joe Biden called the actions in Gaza as “excessive” Egypt fears that a massive military operation in Rafah could lead to a rush of desperate Palestinians to Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.
