Members of the musical group “Bi-2’ refused to meet with the Russian consul. Russian Consul General in Phuket province Vladimir Sosnov said that musicians from the Bi-2 group would be deported from Thailand for holding concerts without a work permit.
A court in Thailand sentenced the musicians to a fine of $85. The Russian diplomatic mission promptly organized a visit to the Russian members of the group, but they refused to hold a meeting. The meeting took place on January 30, but the group members refused to meeting with the consul, RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
