The German NGO ResQship announced that two migrants died and about twenty went missing after their boat sank between Tunisia and Italy. Twenty-two people were also rescued by the NGO's ship, and were disembarked on Sunday afternoon on the Italian island of Lampedusa.
A pregnant woman was rescued while the bodies of two men were recovered, he said. According to the Italian news agency Ansa, nine women were among the survivors and 18 people disappeared at sea. They reportedly paid 3,000 Tunisian dinars (about 900 euros) to board the small boat.
