Five Orenburg pilots died in the crash of an Il-76 military transport plane near Ivanovo. The crew took the burning plane away from residential buildings in the village of Podtalitsy.
None of those who were on the plane survived. The cause of the crash was the fire of one of the engines during takeoff. The families of those killed in the accident will receive assistance. The commission of the main command of the Russian Aerospace Forces flew to Ivanovo to provide assistance to the victims' families.
