Organizations have appealed to the administrative justice to challenge several prefectural decrees authorizing the use of drones during the May 1 demonstrations. The order of the prefect of Seine-Maritime authorizing the police to monitor using drones the parade planned in Le Havre was partially suspended Sunday night by the administrative court of Rouen.

Some 300 to 400 demonstrations gathering between 500 and 650,000 people, including nearly 100,000 in Paris, are planned across the country. That's 5 to 6 times more people on the streets than last Labour Day.
