Markus Gisdol is the new coach of Turkish club Samsunspor. The 54-year-old was previously the coach of Lokomotiv Moscow.
Samsunspor are currently in twelfth place in the Süper Lig. Gisdols' contract expires at the end of the current season, but he could sign a new one if he stays in Turkey. The German has been compared to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of Turkey.
