Madrid will host the prestigious Laureus Awards ceremony for the first time. Madrid takes over from Paris, the city that hosted the Laureus World Sports Awards ceremony last year.
The nominees for this year's awards in seven categories will be announced on February 26, at an event to be held at the Real Casa de Correos. At the gala, many of the best athletes in the world are expected to attend to pay tribute to the most outstanding of 2023, among whom will be those awarded a Laureus statuette.
