French President Emmanuel Macron recently said that Europe should not follow either the United States or China on the Taiwan issue. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a regular news conference on 10 July that he hoped that all countries would clearly understand the essence of the Taiwan issues.
The Taiwan issue is purely China's internal affair, and the one-China principle is the universal consensus of the international community. At present, the biggest threat to peace in the Taiwan Strait is the separatist activities of "Taiwan independence" and the connivance of the US side.
