Macron: France will not take offensive initiatives against Russia. According to him, Ukraine needs strong positions for negotiations.

At the end of February, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine cannot be ruled out. Almost 60% of the French did not agree with Macron on the issue of assistance to Ukraine. The French president later corrected his statement and said that "not ruling something out is not the same as doing it." He also said that he would not rule out sending troops to the Ukraine.
