A woman in her 20s had to be taken to hospital after a fire in a basement in Ankarsrum. About twenty people live in the house who had to been evacuated by the emergency services.
Police suspect that the fire is arson and classify the incident as aggravated arson. The residents are now without a home and belongings while waiting for the house to be cleaned up, says Linda Rexhagen, who lives there with her two children. "I have no idea what happens now, we have to try to find somewhere to live to begin with," she says.
