Nicolas Sarkozy soon back in the dock? This is what the National Financial Prosecutor's Office (PNF) is demanding, which requested Thursday, May 11, a criminal trial for the former French president. This time it is the case concerning suspicions of Libyan financing of his 2007 presidential campaign.

The two investigating judges in charge of the case will now have to order or not the holding of the trial and, if so, what charges to retain. Among the 12 other people targeted by the indictment are three former ministers of the former president: Claude Guéant, Brice Hortefeux and Eric Woerth.
