The "5+5" committee includes 5 members of the military institution of the Government of National Unity in western Libya and represented by the eastern forces led by retired Major General Khalifa Haftar. The meeting aimed to enhance confidence between military and security leaders to support the political process and to move forward in providing an appropriate environment for holding free and fair elections.
The next meeting of the committee will be held after Ramadan in the city of Sabha (south) The meeting agreed to fully comply with all that resulted from the dialogue between the 5+5 Joint Military Committee and the military andsecurity leaders in the Tunis and Tripoli meetings.
