Associations announced Monday to sue the US air regulator, which they accused of having misassessed the environmental impact of SpaceX's new rocket, Starship. The US aviation agency (FAA) issued in mid-April a five-year flight license to SpaceX for this rocket, the largest in the world.

On April 20, Elon Musk's company lifted off Starship for the first time, but the rocket encountered anomalies, forcing SpaceX to activate the self-destruct command. The launch pad itself was partially destroyed by the power of the machine's engines, flying debris and pieces of concrete.
