Ugandan judge Julia Sibutende - who sided with Israel in the South African case - was appointed deputy president of the court for a period of 3 years. International Court judges previously considered a lawsuit from South Africa accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. South Africa recently filed a lawsuit before international justice accusing the Israeli occupation army of committinggenocide.
