Learn about the Israeli government formations during the war on Gaza. The current Israeli government consists of 4 levels: the Council of Ministers, the Cabinet, the Emergency Government, and the War Council.

A mini-council for security and political affairs (cabinet) emerges from this council, and its members are chosen after the inauguration of the government. The emergency government is currently considered the actual government after it was joined by the state camp led by former Defense Minister Benny Gantz, who was one of the most prominent opposition leaders before the war.
