Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva discussed the situation around Ukraine. The parties also called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the solution of humanitarian problems in the enclave and the removal of obstacles to the implementation of UN decisions on the creation of a Palestinian state.
Earlier it was reported that Lavrov, during a meeting with Lula. da Silva, conveyed warm greetings from Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The meeting took place in the Brazilian capital of Rio de Janeiro.
