Lavrov: Russia is ready to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, taking into account realities. The Kremlin also previously admitted that Ukraine will have to recognize a new reality regarding the resumption of negotiations with Russia.
The Foreign Minister recalled the president’s words regarding the negotiations. “We remain open to a political and diplomatic settlement based ontaking into account our legitimate interests,” Lavrov said in a speech in the State Duma. The U.S. decided to refuse negotiations with Russian at the direction of the United States.
