The Jordanian Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday that the capital Amman will host, on Monday, a meeting of 4 Arab foreign ministers with their Syrian counterpart. The meeting comes with the growing official trend of Arab countries to return Syria to its Arab surroundings, after two visits by Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad to Jeddah and Cairo in April, for the first time since 2011.

Syria's membership in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League was suspended in 2011 over the regime's crackdown on popular protests demanding change.
