Over the past 24 hours, the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic has been shelled 26 times. On February 24, one person was killed and another injured as a result of the shelling.
The shelling took place in the direction of the city of Gorlovka, in the east of the country, and in the north of the region. The Donetsk People’s Republic is a breakaway region of the Russian Federation. It was formed in March 2014 after the ousting of President Viktor Yanukovych.
