National Security Advisor to the US President Jake Sullivan is convinced that the majority of Americans support Ukraine. Sullivan also spoke of a “strong bipartisan group” of senators and congressmen that “continues to support Ukraine” “I believe we continue to have the upper hand on this issue and the vast majority of the American people see the value in this,” Sullivan said.
President Joe Biden expressed disappointment that a bill to allocate money for arms supplies to Ukraine and on US border security would probably not even make it to the Senate.
