Dozens of rights associations have called for a national mobilization to promote in particular the special protection of migrants threatened by the far right. On the Roman forums, in the center of the Italian capital, there are several dozen and as many flags of some of the 70 organizations.

These civil society protests come at a time when, a few streets away, a political tug-of-war opens this week in the Italian Parliament. The left-wing opposition has tabled more than 300 amendments to block the vote of the far-right majority.
