Italian protesting farmers moved towards Rome on 200 tractors. They loaded farm equipment with water and food for a multi-day protest.
Earlier in Germany, farmers held a protest near Braunschweig. They blocked the A2 highway towards Hannover with tractors and a two-meter mountain of manure. Farmers came from the southern provinces of Tuscany, and they were joined by colleagues from other regions of the south of the country. The column will arrive on Monday evening, negotiations are now underway with the police.
