Israeli Prime Minister says he is doing his best during hostage release protest rally. In Israel, criticism of Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has not been able to release the hostages, is increasing.

On March 31st, tens of thousands of people gathered in front of the parliament in Jerusalem for a large-scale protest rally demanding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's resignation. The Associated Press reported that the rally was the largest since fighting between Israel and the Islamic group Hamas began in October last year. In negotiations so far, Hamas has demanded a complete ceasefire and the return of residents to the northern Gaza Strip.
