The Israeli military has increased its military offensive in the central Gaza Strip and other areas in the south. Many patients and residents remain in hospitals without being able to evacuate, and there are a number of cases where patients who are unable to receive treatment die or become victims of attacks. The number of casualties in the Gaza Strip continues to rise as negotiations stall and there is no prospect of a breakthrough.
