Israel arrests Ismail Haniyeh's sister near Beersheba. Pictures published by Palestinian media showed members of the Israeli security services storming her home.
The Israeli police claimed that they found documents, media, mobile phones and belongings in her home proving her involvement in what they described as dangerous security operations against Israel. The statement added that she was arrested on suspicion of having made contact with leaders and activists in the Hamas movement and inciting to carry out "terrorist operations" in Israel.
