Israel approves plans to build 18,000 housing units in settlements within one year. "Israel Today" newspaper said that plans have been approved to building 18,515 housing units during the current year.
The newspaper pointed out that the Supreme Planning Council approved - yesterday, Wednesday - the construction of 3,500 additional housing Units in the “Maale Adumim”, “Efrat” and “Kedar” settlements. The meeting came at a symbolic time, as it was held a year after the transfer from the civil authorities in the West Bank to the Israeli Minister of Finance.
