US President Joe Biden said Friday that Benjamin Netanyahu must allow more humanitarian aid to flow to Gaza. Biden was caught saying he would have a frank discussion with Israel's prime minister over the war in Gaza.

The United States is Israel's main supporter, but the Biden administration has recently voiced sharper public criticism of the conduct of the war against Hamas. The Palestinian territory, bombed and besieged by Israel, is in the grip of famine and the U.S. has been dropping aid by air for a week.
