Iranian Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib said that during the government of President Ebrahim Raisi, his country had achieved great successes in launching strikes inside and outside Israel. He explained that these strikes were carried out in co-operation and co-ordination between Iran's security services.

For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel would not allow Iran to establish what he described as a suffocating cordon of terrorism around it. He added that Israel will continue to work to achieve this by all means, offensive or defensive, to repel Iran and its terrorist proxies.
