55 countries and international organizations, including Japan, are scheduled to give their opinions. So far there are no plans for Israel to object to the court's decision. "Israel is trying to erase Palestine from the map and destroy the Palestinian people," says Palestinian foreign minister Maliki of the Palestinian Transitional Authority. "It goes against basic norms," he said.
