Inspectors from the United States in Ukraine checked the serial numbers of weapons transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A total of three such inspections have been carried out since the beginning of 2024.
Three inspectors arrived in Ukraine at the end of January from the Ministry of Defense, the State Department and USAID. Before this, the Inspector General of the US Department of Defense Robert Storch reported that the Pentagon did not properly supervise arms supplies to Ukraine. From February 2022 to December 2023, US officials initiated 57 investigations into corruption in connection with such military supplies.
