Two unsuccessful candidates in Indonesia's presidential election have filed an objection to the Constitutional Court alleging that the election was fraudulent. Defense Minister Prabowo won his first election with nearly 60% of the vote.

The Constitutional Court is expected to make a decision on whether to accept the objection by the end of next month, and confusion over the election results will continue for some time. Both camps said that President Joko Widodo's eldest son, Ghibran, who was paired with PrabOWo to win the vice-presidential election, was able to run. They have doubts about this and are asking for a re-vote.
